Just had a phone call from the tribunal clerk. I do not need to attend my appeal has been allowed and I have been placed in the support group. So relieved now.
Thank you to everyone who gave me advise on my previous threads without your help I wouldn't have got this far.0 -
well done glad you got in the support group x0

Congrats on winning your appeal. I'm currently waiting for an appeal date and the whole process so far has taken 16 months. I asked for a home tribunal and have been granted an out of centre hearing at my GP's surgery which is very close to my home. I think I can make it there ok but doubt I will be able to stay for the whole hearing as it's being allotted 30-60 mins and that will probably be too much for me to handle.
Have to say I've been treated reasonably well throughout having had the WCA at home and being put in the WRAG group for 2 years with WFI being done by telephone (which I had to fight hard for) but this is the 3rd assessment I've had in 10 years and while I understand and accept the principal of being continually re-assessed I don't think I can go through it again and my time on this one is up in December. The stress of having it permanently hanging over me just makes me feel so ill and I don't think I can fight the system any more.0 -
well done you won your appeal, hope mine go smoothly got mine at 3pm on wednesday x0

Well done all of you

I lost mine a month ago and i've stayed in WRAG despite being housebound and classified as not currently fit for work, and my 12 months of contributions-based entitlement to ESA is up this month. Sadly for us that means bankruptcy in the next few months. My partner works fulltime on a low income, but just above the threshold for any other benefits, and we can no longer sustain our mortgage/debt repayments now we've lost one third of our income.0 -
Absolutely relieved. The whole experience had been a nightmare for her and one I would never wish on an enemy.0
