what exactly do your and his credit files show?
Mine shows six years of no missed repayments on loans/credit cards and my contract phone.
His shows he has never had any debt/credit of any kind.
There was a mistake on mine from last year, in october I paid a lloyds credit card off in full as I became annoyed at them contantly hiking up my interest rate which intially started out at 9.89% and I closed it down. Somewhere along the line Credit expert didnt get or transfer this info onto my credit report so that showed an outstanding balance of 2500 which negatively effected my score. Since rectifying this (it took 4 weeks!) my score has gone up by almost 200 points and I have alot more positive factors..0 -
Capital One have decided to give him the Classic Card instead of the Secured Card which is good enough for me!
Please understand, Mr Silk, I am aware that 24 months would be a better sum of time to show good credit history and I wish I had that time. Had my husband listened to me in the first place I wouldn't be fretting about this now... but then what would a husband be if he listened to his wife?!
Thank you all for your help, advice and encouragement I am appreciative of it. It's one less thing to worry about and now I can focus on applying for even more jobs and getting this essay finished for my degree
I'm sorry if any of my responses sound sharp. I have never in my life been this frustrated with anything...0 -
