Running new Humax PVR and Sky+ Box at same time?

Options
I've just bought a Humax box and have cancelled Sky. While my 30 days Sky notice period is running, I would like to be able to record to the Humax box but be able to watch the programmes I have saved on the Sky+ box. Is this possible to do on the same TV please?
I had wondered if a Scart splitter box might do the job but which unit would the aerial need to go to?
Any advice greatly appreciated please.

Depends, is it a freesat or a freeview Humax box? If its the later its only the Humax box that need an aerial.
Does your TV only have one scart, most have a couple.
If you bought an HD Humax box then you should use the HDMI interface for the best results.

We are currently doing just this. Samsung tv with 2 hdmi sockets and switch between the two inputs.
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

Thanks for the answers. It's a Freesat box.
I'm not sure whether TV has 2 HDMIs, but I wonder if I used the HDMI for the Humax box and the scart for the Sky box do you think this would work?

Hold on a minute. Let's think about the satellite feeds. You can't split those.
HDMI is best for both boxes, hopefully your TV has 2 inputs. You're gonna have to go back there eventually to find out!
Right, if it's a Humax Foxsat HDR, it can loop through the signal. The Sky box won't. So you need to take either of the 2 satellite cables hanging out of the wall, and plug it straight into either of the inputs on the Sky box. THEN you need to take the other cable from the wall and connect it to the 1st input on the Humax. This will work, and will give you 2 boxes that can each only do one thing at once, ie. you can't watch and record at the same time. BUT if you add a cable from the OUTPUT on the Humax box to the 2nd INPUT on the Sky box, the Sky box will be able to use 2 tuners, allowing watching and recording at the same time. If you've got a small length of coax cable around it could be useful to do this.

You need a LNB on your dish that has enough connectors, as you can't have two boxes on one lead.
