Sending texts by e-mail

Well, I'm sure it can be done but how? Hubby needs to send a message to his cricket team about subs, so would be cheaper to do it by e-mail than ringing/texting each phone.

Is there a website you go through, is it cheap? Have done a search, but drawn a blank.

and you get 10 SMS to start. Also, not sure how you did your search but if you put "sms by internet" into Google you get LOADS of possibilities, the free options are flagged up.:T
