Still no joy here either.
Connecting 15 pin (3 rows of 5) cable between laptop and PC In, on TV still shows TV as `Not Connected`
On the TV it says on PC channel `Mode Not Supported`.
Tried connecting cable then turning on laptop, tried turning TV on and off whilst connected, no luck.
Any ideas/

How about a tv isn't connected ! You are using a vga 15 pin (3 rows of 5) cable - you need enable another monitor NOT tv.
Try right clicking the desktop / properties / settings and choose a monitor from there. Or click advanced in the settings tab and enable the second monitor.0
