I have called Lloyds internet banking twice, they explained that due to C&G maintenance projects the servcie will be unavailable, they could not tell me when it will be fixed or offer an alternative, other than calling them for the information. The tel for C&Gmortgages is 0845 603 1637, although when calling them I was met with a recorded message that it could take 15 minutes to answer the call due to the high demand – what a surprise they have a high demand!
So not only have the removed the web service, they can’t tell me when its due back and they expect you hang on the phone for quarter of hour – says it all really!
Makes you think of the lack of management foresight that went into not arranging extra call handlers whilst the web service is down.
Perhaps as Cheltenham And Gloucester is part of project verde and is being sold off to become part of the TSB group, could that be a reason you can no longer see it on your Lloyds TSB online banking?
I'm guessing there now starting to transfer accounts and services to the new system that TSB will be using to service there accounts be it bank accounts, savings or mortgages.
So perhaps a little patience and waiting to see what they are going to do won't go a miss.
Your mortgage will still get paid and you won't loose anything really from not being able to see it online, as I'm sure they also send out a statement too!!!Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -
My Lloyds branch is not one being sold off, and my mortgage account online is still visible, if that helps.Mortgage free I: 8th December 2009!
Mortgage free II: New Year's Eve 2013!
Mortgage free III: Est. Dec 2021...0 -
Mine appeared for a while. However, it went again.
The explanation I got was that my mortgage was in the bundled that was being sold off whilst my banking wasnt (banking was through an ex Lloyds bank but mortgage was through an ex C&G branch).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
