    I start a 6-month contract tomorrow.
Okay it will put me back on the scrapheap in half a year but it's full-time and it couldn't be any better situated (I can walk to this office in 10 minutes).
This was via my frequent searches and applications made using indeed.co.uk. I will add that it took a LONG time to get something. Competition is high and vacancies are low.

I'm really lucky actually. My Work Programme adviser was about to send me to work for a call centre that takes 3 separate buses to get to!

After leaving university, I got four interviews from Reed - one of which I was short-listed down to the last two people and pipped at the post by somebody whos degree subject was slightly more desirable. Off the back of this though, the agency that was posting on Reed popped my CV over to another company, where I went for an interview the very next day and got the job straight away :)
  • I got headhunted on reed a few months ago from Loans to Go in Rochdale, had a great interview but unfortunately didn't get the job. Im desperate :( to get out of my current role after four years due to the way things are going. Im constantly applying, joined forrest recruitment, Robert walters, some agencies didn't want to know when I visited them in Manchester.
Ive got over 20 years of admin experience but because I have csa caseworker experience in debt that may be putting employers off me and plus sometimes your age can put people off too.

I got head hunted from my cv on a job website. I would make sure that you update your cv on the sites.
