    Thanks for your comments. I've just received an answer from her and she wants it sent to the address on the cheque.

    Once again the seller is supposed to be a mind reader!

    Surely if the address was important the buyer could have spent 30 seconds writing a brief email, or note explaining that 'this' was the address he preferred to use.

    and as I suggested above, its all down to laziness, but the fact that there is an address on the back of the cheque has to mean that it is there for delivery purposes only, no other reason for it to be there.

    but i do get your point, it could all have been avoided with a simple tiny note, and as you mentioned above, many people may not even have noticed the back of the cheque

    I have had cheques through with no evidence what they are for!! the only way you could tell is if you had a stupid amount say £7.24 or something and link it up!!!

    Yeh with only 530 feedback :rolleyes: I think they expect us to be psychic!! They don't realise that most of us are just like them and just selling bits from the home!! Come to think of it it would be worse if you are a powerseller!!!
