Not much really and after reading your previous thread regarding greasypalm I have no idea why you didn't withdraw the balance pronto.

Were all the good purchased by you delivered to your home address using your card details?...i.e nothing at all to do with your brother. It all looks rather confusing. You should never share accounts.

No accounts were shared. I have all the emails and bank statements they require as proof that the products were purchased by me and delivered to my doorstep. Furthermore, according to their website, TCB do allow making occasional transactions on behalf of a friend or family member:

"As we don’t charge a membership fee, we are happy for you to make the occasional cashback transaction on behalf of other family members or close friends. In other words, we don’t insist that each family member or close friend necessarily have to create their own account"

You must have done something, I'm sure they would'nt lock you out for no reason.

Anyway, I hope you are able to resolve it.

Apparently, it's happened quite a few times in the past. When certain members reach a high payout level, there have been cases where TCB have locked accounts. Whether this is just co-incidence, I don't know. But the increasing trend seems worrying.

Only advice I can give you is if you continue using any cashback sites - withdraw your balance as soon as it is available. That way you won't be losing 100s again.

Duly noted! Thanks for the advice. (Provided the account is re-enabled!)

No response from TCB has been forthcoming. I don't know what to do.

May anyone please suggest how I go about complaining to the Trading Standards and other relevant agencies? Furthermore, what's the best way to come into contact with the press with regards to this?

All I can say is that I had my Quidco account locked once due to a high number of transactions and cashback levels. It was all genuine (I just spend a lot!).

They were extremely pleasant and just asked me to provide proof of the original transactions from my bank account etc and the cashback money was in my account within the week.

They were very apologetic and I understand that they have to be careful of people fraudulently using accounts etc.

All I can suggest is to keep on trying to contact them and ask them what they need in order to reinstate the account.

But they are not even responding anymore?

But this only happened "a few days ago". Try them again and give them time to come up with a response.

Well, they've always been very good with response times. Normally get back to cashback issues or any other help/support issues within 24-48 hours.

I'm not sure why it's taking longer for them now? Anyways, I'll wait, although I'm not holding my breath.

I requested a payout from TCB at end of Feb. This has still not cleared in my bank account so submitted a support ticket on 8 March asking what was going on. Still hadn't had a response by yesterday so chased it. They have responded today saying the same, my account has been suspended probably because of abuse.

The money I'm trying to claim is from a phone contract I purchased from phones4u. I still have the phone and pay the monthly contract as it is my phone! The only thing I can think is maybe I tried to do the confused.com quotes one too many times.

Either way it's £50.50 I could really do with!

It's been over a week now, and no response has been recorded from TopCashBack. It seems like they're turning a blind eye to my concerns and my suspended account!
