Mini Select Finance

I am looking to get a nearly new mini on the mini cherised select finance plan.

The 'approved' dealer has quoted me 4.9% APR but the figures don't seem to make sense and someone on the loans board suggested that the 4.9% deal is actually only on new cars. I can't find anything about rates on the mini website (which keeps crashing every two seconds!!)

Is anyone else on the mini select plan and if so what rate did you get?

I wonder if it is worth buying a new one (perhaps 3k more in price) to get a better finance deal?

Thanks for pointing that out, it's really helpful as I hadn't realised....jeeez.

Do you not think different people read different boards?

Also do you have nothing better to do than check what other posts I may or may not have made?

I do have better things to do,but what annoys me is people like yourself wasting other peoples time when they have already offered advise.

Hello Wonder Woman - sorry some people don't seem to have any manners!

I used to have a Mini and bought it second hand on the Cherish program. I can't remember the exact interest rate now as it was about 6 years ago now but I do remember that they gave me the interest rate they were offering on new cars - and I managed to get them to add a 6 CD changer to the boot :)

If you can get any extra warranty etc I'd also recommend it as they are great with any repairs etc that need to be done. Enjoy :)

I actualyl thought the same. Multiple threads makes more work for the mods. If you don't like the advice you are getting then fine but there is no need to start lots of different ones.

I appreciate topics like this can be difficult to place though, loans etc is a good spot but then motoring because of the specific nature. I feel the OP should have acknowledged that fact when posting this.

I do feel Wonderwoamn's response to having this pointed out though was unnecessary. The 'be nice' badge under there as a newbie works both ways.

now, can y'all just kiss and make up? :D

What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

    1. Many people suggest trying another forum for some help.

    2. Read the newbie badge.

Manners cost nothing. A gentle reminder would have been more than appropriate rather than acting like a jumped up idiot who clearly has a little too much time on his hands.

    I don't disagree
    2. Read the newbie badge.

I did. I refered to it. Did you actually read my post?

    Manners cost nothing.

You could keep that in mind when writing:
acting like a jumped up idiot who clearly has a little too much time on his hands.

That was the most aggressive response to an attempted peacemakign post I have read.

Y'all just fight it out if you want. I just wanted the OP's thread back on track. Name calling etc won't help with that.

And number 2 entitles them to be rude and your right manners don't cost nothing and if you read op's replies properly you would not be making such an idiot of your self now would you.

The one bit of advise I will give you as YOU do not have the time is slow down or get some glasses then you can read the threads properly.

    Now who's the idiot.!!!!!!!!!!!!!muppet
