There was something on Pravda about this.
I personally think it's a disgusting practice, mainly be Western European/American men, but that's just me.

I wish these programmes wouldn't keep repeating the story .... and would crack on and cover more than just 2 people's stories.0

I had a go at that on holiday. It's handy for seeing the puppies on the beach. Unfortunatly it distorts your [STRIKE]feet[/STRIKE] "puppies" up if you don't do it quite right...0 -

No such dilemmas these days...

My mother was a single parent in uk then. Arrived with a husband and then ended up having to be the sole provider. It was possible. I doubt it was easy, particularly for less strong willed people, with less education and closer to home.0 -

Re nationality .... I'd have no idea. I can tell most colours of people, but wouldn't know how colours equate to countries beyond the bare basics.
I can just about get the continent right, on a good day...0 -

My mother, my sister and I are all 6 1/2. Mother has narrower feet, so we have been banned from stretching her shoes.
OH, DS1 and DS2 are 9.5, 9 and 10. So can sometimes share depending on fit.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Feet are weird.
DH and my dad are both size nine. Dad is way taller than DH though. DH has awful feet. Like a hobbit's feet.0 -
