I wouldn't have wanted to get married on something like a birthday/valentines/new year. If it all went wrong there would be such a stark reminder every year!0

I don't think its beautiful tbh.0 -

Today in Pasturesland, where the sun is out a bit, it's "folding chair day", so, in a bit, I'll shower/wash my hair and go out to get that.
Checked my Tesco Clubcard account ... 129 points gained in the last 2 years.
People who 'boast' about spending oodles of points fail to realise it costs money to collect them - and I think a lot are sucked into buying things because of the points.
My dad'd do that - he'd go mental at the thought of buying something for 99p as he'd "lose out" on a point, so he'd buy another item to take it over the £1, usually the extra item wasn't needed ..... it was just to get the point. He never understood my logic.0 -

I think it would be cool if someone did it and wore it, or their friend did it for them and they wore it. Sort of ironic and green and nuts and bolts of friendshipand fashion type statement. But to but something I'd have to think it were beautiful. I like lots of reused stuff, but not that.
ATM I am seeing lots of costume jewellery earrings or not expensive real earrings I 'd really like, but cannot choose between them and so I'll get none.0 -
My mate got married on New Years Eve. That just makes things too complicated for my liking!:D
My brother got married (for the 2nd time), on Christmas Eve. It was said we would never forget the anniversary but because of the pre Christmas rush, we all tend to, even them!
I am one of 3 living children, the first born died when he was around 5 months old, he would have been 53 this year. Then mum had lots of miscarriages and then my brother, more miscarriages and then me, then had a stillborn (another boy) and then the surprise package which is my sister.
My sister was a total surprise, not planned at all...well apart from on my dad's part who decided he fancied another and surprised my mum one night!:rotfl:We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

ETA: oh heck. I've only got three more posts to do until I get 5 stars. I may have to delete a few. I quite like having 4 stars. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
