Isn't ACORN at a similar resolution to LA ward?

My understanding is that it is smaller than that. If mine was at LA ward level there would be more deprivation: I live in the same ward as a lot of council housing but where I live is private. It seems to be smart enough to work out that where I live is different, but not smart enough to get it bang on. I think it is done by postcode, probably postcode sector. If it was by postcode unit (ie my full postcode) the results would be different.

I wrote a fairly long post that was really heartfelt. A summary:

I'm a bit sad and a bit happy. The weather's great. It was my birthday a few days ago.

    Bloody Internet.

    Happy Easter to all NP.

GDB and LiR I hope the effects of the food poisoning wear off quickly.

Generali a belated happy birthday to you and to your son.

We are not going to Church today - we usually 'do' main feasts.
We have our recently widowed freind and one of his sons coming today . We will go for a dog walk together and eat a lot. DD has made a simnel cake, a sponge decorated with chicks, two lots of hot cross buns. We are having roast turkey, the first time I have ever cooked a turkey except at Christmas so I am not doing pigs in blankets but we do have stuffung and cranberry sauce.

I have had a milk chocolate easter bunny and a lovely plain choclate egg. Mr S has taken them off me as I have already eaten the bunnies ears and I will send my glucose levels all over the place. I am a bit stupid really.

The play James was in a couple of weeks ago.....so proud of the lot of them.

Edit - only just realised we are on a new thread!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Oh, I forgot it was Easter. I have no eggies.

When I was growing up (up to about 10-12), Easter Sunday was always a big "Xmas Dinner Style" roast turkey. We didn't do crackers or anything, but the roast dinner was turkey instead of chicken and it had more food, just like at Xmas.

I rarely do. The change now means the one in the car is correct and the one by the PC is an hour slow.

    :)

PC does it automatically or I'd have not even known/realised.
