It's been lovely here today, till quite late afternoon.
I was actually warm today.
In other news....I am taking a gamble and chucking away my favorite jeans. They are too big. I am wondering if I should put them in a box for next time I bloat / gain weight as its bound to happen ( mt weight fluctuates hugely over a month anyway) but its meant to be a bad idea.
I'm torn between keeping and binning.....mse keep or aspirational throw. It's the opposite of aspirational clothes size shopping!0 -
So, are we going to convene tonight to decide the votes of the NPT jury? Every NP allowed to score a tune out of 10, from which the mean is taken and at the end we decide the winner, or is that too silly? Or am I the only one watching with my TV dinner and many apps raring to go?Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Can I just say if the clothes are pretty or not? Scoring is always going to be difficult!0 -

I'm more than up for itI'll got get a pen and paper (I'll never remember otherwise).
I'll not bother with the apps, but my massive pizza (flatmate and boyfriend are sharing one the same size - I'll start with half but I'm sure I'll manage the whole thing) is almost ready. You're definitely not alone!0 -

I'll probably have to make some decisions like that - I'm wearing what used to be my best fitting jeans to go to the swimming pool etc in as they are too loose now, and some that were a bit too tight now fit well. I should be able to 'go shopping' from some of the clothes I already have at my parents' next weekend0 -

PasturesNew wrote: »Well, for the weight watchers/slim people ... I'll share my haul with you. I bought household items, a couple of stock-up items .... and a raft of treats. Listing only the treats: Bag of battered chicken, 750g oven chips - so that's my "meal tonight" coming in at £2.16 and using only £1 of that lot. Then: a pack of 1" square lemon mini cheesecakes (biscuit things); 3 individual black cherry cheesecakes; 12 packs of Walkers C/O crisps; chocolate covered raisins and a bag of "treat sized" fake Marathon bars
So, £1 on food tonight, £7 of treats for the week = what I'd have spent on a cheap indian takeaway
Sadly our supper cost more.. Steak is a big treat though. Two between three of us because I had three but parent had one last night but dh and I were too tired to eat then.

Thank you
I'm sure I could have lost more, more quickly if e.g. I didn't eat rather large pizzas and quite a lot of crisps at the weekend, but I'm pleased.0 -
Moving day today. Unpacking sucks.
One of my colleagues is in the crowd somewhere at Eurovision. I think he said he was dressing up as a pirate, and his friend was dressing as a shark. I don't think I can watch this...0
