    Yes exactly that! I've never attended anything like a cremation or memorial service for burying the ashes so wouldn't know what to expect but I would hope for something more dignified than a plastic bag.

    I'd personally be horrified if I was handed a relatives ashes in a cheap plastic coop bag!

    Cheap and tacky beyond belief. Makes you wonder about the attitude of the people working there.

    When we organised the funeral of a loved one (through co-op) they were brilliant. We couldn't fault them.

    My Nan's funeral was arranged through the Co-op (she was buried) and everything was lovely and dignified.

    My uncle was cremated about 18 years ago and his ashes were buried, they were handed to my auntie in a lovely wooden box. I don't know if that funeral was through the Co-op though.
