Cancelling a contract with Three(3)

I have a 24 month Iphone 4S contract with three, I took it out 12 months ago and it has another 12 to run.
I get signal outside usually but never indoors and I am starting to consider just sacking it off, unlocking the phone and putting a giff gaff sim in there.
I also have an O2 contract but that works in and outdoors fine so although it has less time to run (sept 13) and is a terrible phone (galaxy S2) I would rather keep that one running as it gets a signal alright.

What is the crack Three wise, will they whallop me with a hefty cancel fee for the 12 months remaining, I have made no word of a lie literally about 2 phone calls on it ever and about 4 texts. I use it mainly at home sat on my wifi streaming spotify music.
It never ever has a signal when I want to use it so I just disregard it and use the S2 instead.

If they are going to hit me hard with a 12 month fee that will match what I will pay over the next 12 months anyway then I may consider unlocking the 4S and sticking my O2 in that, slinging the S2 at my brother to do what the hell he wants with it and the three sim in the bin.

Yeh because you're in a contract they'll charge you for the 12 months remaining but i think they can give you a discount of something like 5% or something.

But ask Three about their home signal thing. It's like the vodafone signal box but free.

Oh and mate, it's probably the iPhone with the poor signal. iPhone's are notorious for that.

Yes, you'll be charged the full remaining value left on the contract.
It's irrelevant whether you've used the phone or not.
