    That could've been phrased better!!:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

OMG I am cream crackered!! Mr LW is on leave today, for Ostara (spring equinox), and we've just come back from a visit to Bletchley Park (one-year ticket expires next month, so Mr LW wanted to squeeze one more visit out of it). It's very interesting, and you always learn something new - we spent an age looking at the Colossus machine - but s-o-o-o tiring, even with the wheelchair.

Anyways, I have a bit of updating of the accounts spreadsheets to do (we got a few bits in Mr T's this morning, and Mr LW visited the cashpoint) so I'm going to do that next.;)

    Ostara Blessings, one and all.:o

I think the wording is quite good, Its you lot and your dirty minds.

    Well,
    the little chicks are here:j:j

We have four of them, the other family have decided not to have any. So the other two girls and the 4 boys are off to the small holding that I told the school about.

The Girls will be easy to sell, the boys will probably end up as Sunday dinner for someone. But that's life. (Bad for a male!)

I have put some photos up on Facebook. So some of you can pop over there to a look.

wife doing something new for dinner tonight,

out of River Cottage Veg book.
Had the Book for 12 months or there about's and its the first thing we have tried out of there,

I will post about it tomorrow. And if its any Good. i will share it.

    :j:j

    Headlight - You're a cheeky chick!
LW - Hope you have a happy Ostara. Sounds like you have had a lovely day.

Work busy as usual, came home and re-stocked the fireplace with logs from the shed (so that's my workout for today), hoovered round, cleaned the fire and made chilli for tea, just waiting for DD to come in so we can eat. DD has cooked my dinner for me the last 2 days which was lovely so it's my turn again!

Washing on the airers, there were snow flurries this morning again so decided not to put it out. Not much else to report, hugs to those not feeling quite themselves, take care. XX

Hope all poorlies soon start to feel better.

Halight - won't be any hestering here tonight - think dh is nearly asleep on the sofa!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We had sleet mixed in with the rain this morning, then just continued raining - which did stop late morning. Turned really cold again now, gritters flying round. Have a load of washing to put out in the morning - forecast for tomorrow doesn't look too bad although cold.

Take care, keep safe and well x

Taking my name in vain, lol!
The kids were calmer today, but boy was it cold on duty.
I did fish & chips for tea as I was feeling lazy & now I'm off to bed, I'll see if I can fit a bit of Hestering in.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Evening all,

:rotfl: Hester you make me chuckle.

So Dh has come down with whatever ds3 has come down with, tired sickly listless, no appetite. I'm hoping its a bug that won't last long. Not much patience when it comes down to looking after moaning blokes, Florence Nightingale I am not👼

I got the bargain of the century this afternoon. Popped in the charity shop and noticed a Microwave Oven, I've wanted a new one for ages and only had an ordinary micro before. It's a nice big one with, a bit retro looking but works a treat, should be fab for every day and great at Christmas when I never have enough room.
Then I notice it was stood on top of a nice big chunky tv unit, that looked just about the right size and colour in great condition.
I took a chance and got them both for £35:money: yay the tv unti in the back lounge looks fab and the microwave seems great. Just need to try and find the manual on line. Best of all paid for out of my Paypal account, which means eBay sales.
Anyway enough chat I'm off to bed with a cuppa. Have a good evening, shall I turn off the light or is it a bit early🌠
    Night all J x

Mum and dad for tea tonight.

Oh My!! Now THAT is most certainly a money-saving scheme! ;)

Judi. For my flowers I've heard that both aspirin and lemonade work wonders (not together). Ice cold water perks up tired-looking blooms quickly.

Well it was a VERY close and tightly fought WI Darts Final. We had to play the full (best of) three games so the last on was the decider. We needed x1 and they needed x3 - they got it. We were happy because the little old lady who hit the x3 was beside herself with joy. Also it was by now 10.30 (we'd been playing since 7) so we were all tired and just wanted to go home. Very, very proud to have reached the second place position - especially as second prize was a Cadburys Caramel chocolate egg!! (Must tastier than the first place shield! ;) )

Treated myself to a new cardigan for £3.49 from the charity shop today (literally - it looks new!). I've been after a new black cardigan for weeks so I am chuffed! :rotfl:
