Three - PaYG - stupid question alert
Options
Hi
I'm currently on o2 at the end of my contract. I have an Iphone and don't want to upgrade yet until I know what's happening with 4G
Anyway - to cut costs while I wait I was looking at Three PAYG tariff All in One 15 ... 300 Mins, 3000 text and unlimited Data ...
My question is - does this expire monthly ... or just when you've used it all up ... I'm guessing monthly as you could just send 2999 texts and then have free data forever.
Told you it was a stupid question

Like above, it lasts 30 days and then you have to pay £15 again to get the same allowance. So in effect you are paying £15pm to get the allowances.
What's happening with 4G is that EE are charging a premium from £21pm for 500mb data on a sim only. O2 and Vodafone will be charging a bolt on for 4G IF YOU HAVE A 4G phone already on contract. You'd have to take out a contract or upgrade your contract to a 4G phone to even get 4G on o2 or vodafone. I'm guessing the bolt on will apply for sim onlys as well but not for pay as you go.
Three are the only ones who are not charging a premium for 4G so you can buy any sim or contract tariff and you will get 4G on the sim but obviously you need to buy a 4G phone if you want to actually get a 4G signal.0 -
Thanks for your replies. I guess I couldn't see for looking as I searched the site for the info for ages!0
