In my opinion a problem that results in the issue Pasty has noted (and also fortnight old merge requests) is the fact that the board has 4 BG's, but I've only ever seen 2 do anything though? I understand that they don't need to make a song and dance every time they're here, but to just be here would be nice.

I understand the volunteering reasoning so don't want to bring that argument up. I also understand 'real life' gets in the way sometimes too and 'board life' as the BG's operate across multi-boards. But surely if you sign up to something you should be able to put some hours in and if you can't/don't want to, then maybe you should have the board taken away from you and given to someone else, instead of stretching the existing team beyond reasonable productivity.

Time to put my controversial typing fingers away before I get in trouble heh.

When I went through yesterday the biggest issue was the Twitter competitions.

The ones that give a specific finish time you have to presume that they have finished at that time- a few tweet shortly before the end to get last minute entries but a lot don't, and not everyone announces the name of the winner, so it can be difficult to tell...

There were a few like that yesterday so I left them for the BG to decide.

I only came across one that finished earlier than the guessed end date...
