I had a similar problem and made numerous telephone calls to no avail. I found that writing to TC and CB to be more productive. My son is 18 and in full time education and I receive TC and CB.

I am still going through a nightmare with TC over this.

I informed CB & TC in writing that daughter was remaining in f/t to do her A Levels. CB duly updated their records and have never missed a payment. TC on the otherhand are now saying that they did't have the information about her staying in fte on their system so it's basically tough, I can't do anything about it.

I've learnt the hard way to write and ring (or at least write registered every time). What amazes me is that the most recent reply I had from Tax Credits was in an envelope with the Return address for Child Benefit Department ... so is it a question of left hand not knowing what right hand is doing?

Beats me, I actually get uptight seeing anything from TC now which is unusual because the 'computer' keeps altering my postal address and hence often sends to a different address!!?!
