How can a person not be eligible if they never go overdrawn and deposit thousands in every month? Am i applying too early?

Why do you need an overdraft if you deposit 'thousands' and 'never go overdrawn'.

Be happy with the 5% credit interest I say =/

You apply for the overdraft when you request the account to be opened, and they'll tell you there and then whether or not you can have an overdraft and by how much.

If that didn't happen, you need to wait at least 6 months before reapplying, otherwise you'll get an automatic "Sorry" message.

Hi, wondered whether anyone knew what nationwide's internal credit scoring system is? I saw today in the branch they had my score as 4 and wondered where on the scale this was?

I didn't apply for an overdraft when I opened the account by applied for one as soon as I got my internet banking info through, perhaps a week or so later. It was approved straight away.

EDIT: Sorry, just realised I'm replying to an oldish post... Still, someone might be interested.
