Has anyone tried clicking on overdraft options on internet banking of nationwide? Is says overdraft cannot be given? so is it planned or unplanned overdraft thats free for a year? as the planned option doesnt seem to work on my internet banking...it maybe too premature to ask for an overdraft that why? anyone else come across this problem?

You may not be eligible for an overdraft facility. I'd ring them and ask.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0

I had the same and thought mine didnt come with an overdraft as mine said zero but if you go to overdrafts on the left hit the apply for overdraft and request limit.
If you don't have this option then you are not eligiable..0 -
this is the message i seem to be getting...
We're sorry, your account is not eligible for an overdraft limit.
We are unable to offer an overdraft limit on this type of account.
How can a person not be eligible if they never go overdrawn and deposit thousands in every month? Am i applying too early?0 -

Its nothing to with how much you deposit it was down to credit scoring when you applied for the account which obviously don't take in deposits.
Wait 6 months and try again.0 -

Your credit score was insufficient for Nationwide to consider giving you any sort of overdraft. Also if your debit card is the purple cashcard + then you won't get an overdraft of any kind either.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -

Purple cashcard wouldn't come with a Flex Direct account.0 -

What do you want - the 5% interest or the overdraft? Seems it was the overdraft you were after but you were declined. Nobody has a right to an overdraft, and nobody was unreservedly promised an overdraft. Time to move on.0
