The frozen chicken is cheaper in Aldi and Lidl and you don’t have to buy 3 packs at once.

Aldi Essentials  £3.50 per kg.    Farmfoods current offer equates to £2.50 per kg.  (and when reverts to 3kg for £10  Farmfoods still wins on price....just!!   ...though at that point you have to factor in travel/convenience )

600g pk bacon, smoked or unsmoked, is £2.69.  FF usual offer is 3 pks for £7.  Currently they are doing 3 pks for £5.........so 1.8 kg for £5, unbeatable.

When comparing the price of frozen chicken breast you need to factor in the amount of added water.With some it can be as much as 20 % water.
I've just switched to veggie sausages because they are generally a lot lower in saturated fat and Farmfoods do 3 packs of Linda McCartneys for £5 whereas in some shops they are £2 + for 1 pack so a good deal

A glass of chicken water is good for you.
Much tastier than a glass of cabbage water.

10 Big barn eggs    49p.
Not seen either of these products before. Wondering if they usually go to caterers.    I feel a baking day this weekend.

FRAY BENTOS tinned meat pies  eg, steak and kidney, minced beef and onion, 425g are only 49p.  (Tesco £2, Morrisons  £1.98, Asda £1).

Oh dear, just read some reviews,and, they're not good.   Haven't had one for probably 40 years!   Looks delish on the lid.   Will report back.....if I  manage to open the tin!

I had one a couple of months ago. It's not fine dining and not something I'd be eating every week but perfectly adequate for the price paid. I think I paid a quid.
