    Hiya,

    Just thought I'd let you know a local guy running a Disc Depot in Dundee supplied and fitted my new PSU for £20, where as PC World wanted £70 approx.

    Just dropped the tower off and picked it up a few days later (he also fixed a dodgy floppy drive FOC at the same time).

    Have you asked around friends and family. I've managed to get one free off a friend who had an old one she had since replaced...treating her to dinner as a thankyou!

    freecycle still sounds the most appealing. Do they have rules about re-posting a request? Anyone know how long to wait first etc.?

    Not *exactly* local but Gladiator Computers (https://www.gladiatorcomputers.com) in Manchester are top notch, they do a PSU for under 10 quid and would probably fit it for not much more.
