I used to work with someone who went to live in Blackpool and was going to buy 2 B+B's. I've dug their email address out and dropped them a line. Not been in contact with them for a year or so, so not even sure if they bought them etc, but I'll report back if I hear anything.

I got lost heading towards the tower - cos the road started to turm the opposite direction. Now I think of it, I know someone with a hotel in Blackpool - not sure if they finished doing it up yet though.

couple of things:
Lenny, no drunken picnics in the park I'm afraid, its actually illegal to drink on the streets in Blackpool.:mad:
Meeting in front of the tower would work, so long as you mean the prom side and not the pavement at the foot of the tower - it's a bit too small.

Got an email back from my friend, but unfortunately they aren't now licing in Blackpool.
although fate has taken them to my old home town where I will be visiting next month so I might be able to catch up with them - Iwould never have known unles the Blackpool meet was happening!
