Technika 32-56D LCD TV

Options
I got this tv for fathers day last year (June 2012). I have a problem now with what looks like freeze framing, if someone or thing is moving fast you have two or three like shadows etc behind them.
Have the Tesco receipt (thank goodness the wife kept it) which says I have to ring Tesco electrical helpline, haven't done this as yet, can you tell me
will they try and fix tv
will they replace it
can I insist that it be replaced
what if any advice can someone offer me to say to them

I would be grateful for your help. thanks.

It will be their choice whether to replace, refund or repair.

Have found their repairs to be very good in all honesty. Even called me up to make sure the TV was ok the day after it was delivered back to me :)

Since Technika is purely a Tesco badging exercise, with models sourced from far and wide, spares may well be non-existent, so they'res every chance you'll be offered a replacement or a partial refund.
If they offer the latter, grab it with both hands, and then buy a decent budget brand such as LG or Samsung,

How did you manage to get a free collection? It's normally an RTB warranty?

Did you buy it at a Tesco store, or online from Tesco Direct?

bought it at a Tesco store.
got a phone call today from a guy in Tesco's electrical helpline, he ran through a number of things with me and it seems to have sorted the problem.
