    Morning everyone

Camelot - Happy Birthday - hope you have a great day x

Hugs to those that need/want them that are having a hard/sad time at the moment x

Light cloud, misty and dry here this morning.

DH up and off to work stupid early.

Yesterday turned out to be a very lazy chilled day - DH was better by the end of the day - not really sure what caused him to feel unwell but by the end of the day his headache had gone, stomach better and he'd become hungry and had 2 x small meals and was absolutely fine. I have told him though we will be trying to be a bit more healthy (realistically this is for him not me, apart from alcohol my diet is pretty healthy). There will be no alcohol during the week at all except special occasions etc. We don't drink that much during the week as have to get up for work etc, but it can't do any harm and will assist with the food budget as all alcohol is now so expensive.

Dinner tonight will be smoked sausage pasta in creme fraiche sauce.

Back to work today for me - all the c/tax bills will have hit the mats so expecting it to be mahem! There will be so many people coming in asking why they have to pay, and that they don't want to/can't afford to. Hopefully it will make the day go by quickly though!

Made sure that the kitchen had a good clean and tidy up last night as I find it such much better to start the day with a clean and tidy kitchen. Mine and DH's lunches are made the night before but I make the boys in the morning - due to the fact that they generally have bread rolls - and I buy the part baked ones so need to bake them in the morning.

    Keep safe and well x

Well it has been a very wet night here in the East, thought it had stopped, but now trying again, its very calm and 4C. So pleased we managed to get a hard standing pitch for the caravan for the night, as the grass just squelches when you walk on it, there are pools of water on the fields all over Limcoclnshire, and probably Yorkshire too.

I am up and have made us both a coffee while DH is still in bed with Skye keeping him company now.

Off to the Dealers today to get it checked for a Warranty problem they have found to be affecting a batch, of which ours is one. Just a quick check and then we will be on our way home. Looking at the weather we don't need to get there before mid afternoon when the rain should ease off, else we get a little wet putting it away!

Take care everyone, hope the workers have a good day at work, and those with pains, that their tablet work! ((Hugs)). DG

    Happy Birthday Camelot :bdaycake:

Dull and damp here, so no washing out today, yesterdays dinner was delish and the ultimate in lazy, OH bought home 2 bits of pork from the market, and we had roast pork and stuffing sandwiches :D, they were so tasty, and there is enough meat left for a roast tomorrow.

Still got a raging sore throat, and dd feels a biut coldy too, need to dose us up today.

Dropping dd at work, then home for us usual housework, will do down stairs today, and upstairs tomorrow.

Need to do an online shop too.

    Have good days all xx

    Hi all,:o
Feeling fed up and sore today. Fell again last night. My knees literally folded up underneath me as I watched. Hit the floor on both knees, cut the left one rather badly (it still hasn't healed from last week) and bashed right one. Sat on the floor crying. Thank goodness OH was there. He rushed out and patched me up.:( Ended up in bed at 7 nursing my bruises.
Im fed up with these falls. OT's are coming out on 2nd April to see if they can help with something to stop me falling. I just go down so heavily without warning, and I'm worried that I will have another serious break.:(

Anyway, enough moaning. :bdaycake:Camelot Hope you have a brilliant day.:T:T:T

Got to do a mystery shopping job today. Couldn't do it last week, because we were snowed in! Don't feel like it, but I have to. Anyway they have told me to buy something up to £5 and I need printer paper, so that will do.

WM just finished, ironing to do. Ham & lentil soup for lunch, spaghetti and meatballs for dinner.

    Have a good day.

    Hilly,
You need to look after yourself, You can not keep falling and getting off it just being a bit sore and bumped, At some point you are going to do yourself some real damage.

    Look after Yourself today.:)

    Hilly,

    re OT Coming,

The OT should be able to put you In contact with SS, They can fit rails around the the place for you to help. E.G A rail each side of the stairs, Rails by the shower/bath. Rails for the toilet.

they can also sort out walking aids they have lots of Different one's now. So they should have something that you feel able to use and will help you.

What about a thing that hangs above your chair/Bed that you can help to lift yourself up with ? Might be a little help.

Have think before hand about what you wont/need. Don't be afraid to ask the OT for it or if they can recommend an item to help with the problem.
Also what ever they give you. Once you get it, if you find that's its of no help or not good enough for what you need/wont it for. Get back in contact with them and tell them. They can then see about trying another item.

    Good luck:)

    Hi everyone

It's a dull sort of morning here. Usually by this time of year I'm really thinking about getting out in to the garden, but so far this year I've still got my winter head on.

Will go down the the post office shortly with my eBay parcels. A bit quiet this week with sales, but I have sold our old camcorder for a good price. I was going to send it first class recorded, but I'm going to do it special delivery for guaranteed next day delivery. It costs more, but you do get insurance if it goes missing. I think it's a sensible precaution - I'm not 100% sure of the buyer. He only buys camcorders, lives in a very dodgy area of London and has already hasseled me, saying he needs it by tomorrow. I've also taken a photo of the serial number, just in case. Maybe I'm paranoid, but you have to protect yourself!

Then it's on with the housework, Mondays seem to come round very quickly.

Salmon for dinner tonight, so that'll be easy.

    Have a good day.

    Happy birthday to Camelot

  • Morning all, a bit of a lazy one for me today. OH took DS2 to school today so I'm not even dressed.

However, I have done some washing and a bit of tidying. I've got nothing planned today so I'm just going to do some housework.

i have got to go to the post office as I had a few thing sell on eBay yesterday. Typically only one person has paid though so I will leave it until later in the day in case the others pay up.

We're having a braised steak for dinner tonight. It's an adaptation on a Hairy Bikers recipe. I do like their recipes, they're really tasty and don't tend to have unusual ingredients. I get frustrated when I have to buy a jar of herbs so I can use 1/4 tsp, then never need it again.

Hilly sorry about your fall, make sure you follow halights advice regarding the OT.

Happy birthday Camelot. Hope you have a lovely day.

Lottiesmum It always looks like a small list when you're meal planning. Hopefully it will be reflected in your purse.
