why doesnt any1 offer deposit accounts????????????!!!

Does anybody know where I can get a deposit account from? The type of account where you give them a little safe with gold or money and they give you like a key and charge you £10/month.
Barclays used to offer the service but no longer allow it however HSBC used to but say they are full! I dont know if it is just my local HSBC or all?!!!!!!!

With pressure on companies to reduce space to save money, these can't be particularly profitable. However, I know they exist in Manchester and am sure there'll be some in Leeds and probably York.

It's a deposit box, not a deposit account. The High St banks abandoned theirs years ago now.

Macman make a sensible point, ask in bank to open a deposit account, you won't be happy with the account you get!
