HTC Sensation problem - help

Has anyone got an HTC Sensation that has terrible reception. Mine is "deaf"! I took it to the Vodafone shop where I bought it and they said it was just the poor reception where I live. My partners Iphone also on Vodafone has great reception in our house while mine hardly works at all with data.

Can't get rid of it for quite a while yet as it's a two year contract but just wondered if anyone has had the same problem?
