Getting rid of Sky?

Hi, would appreciate some advice. Our last Sky bill was £98.94:
*Sky Talk £23.34 (line rental £14.50, Sky Talk Anytime £5.00, and the rest was call charges)
*Sky Broadband £7.50
*Sky TV £68-subscription free, entertainment extra with sports hd £57.75, extra box £10.25. One box is recordable and we get sports in both rooms.
If we bough a recordable freeview box, could we pay extra and get sports and E! channel on it, and would it save us any money? We don't mind getting rid of the extra box, but we would like to keep broadband

I think the best thing to do is to work out what you can afford for these services. Set a budget and stick to it.

Then ask what is most important to you: TV, Phone or internet.

As far as sky sports goes your options are limited. Sky sports one and two are available on various platforms at a cost. I think only sky, virgin an talk talk offer all the sports package. So which channels do you need?

The phone costs seem expensive and you seem to make a fair number of calls not included in the anytime plan. Was this a one off or regular? Something to look at id say.

Like i said set a budget n what you can afford/want to pay and then rank items in order of importance. Then build a package from there.
