Help with Internet settings sony erricson C902

hi I got my phone unlocked about 6 months ago its a sony erricson c902
it was fine until I did a software update and now it keeps freezing and restarting and trying to I think revert back to the o2 branding
and now I cant access the web on it, I go to the google page and then try and go to a different site which I thought if there was no settings wouldn't allow me
it then has a message "internet settings missing install!" so I click ok and nothing so I asked virgin media to send me settings which they do and I follow the right instructions and again nothing so I go to the internet setting on my phone and it says virgin int and the virgin mms so I click to save and nothing
its a though the phone refuses to have any internet settings installed?????
the internet problem started yesterday
anyone know how to fix this please ?

Reads as a failed update to me .


revert back to the o2 branding >>>> does that mean its been flashed with non original firmware .
Updates would be the original o2 unless it was flashed with non original firmware .
Unlocked or locked and original firmware gets O2 firmware .

all I had done was unlocked and it was only a few months ago it started playing up and now it refuses to install internet settings
ive been told its a software flash so ive googled it but I am unsure of how to do it also I could take it into store and get it done but £15 at the moment I don't have spare so I was looking on here to see if anyone has the step by step approach or has done it before
