Me and hubby are approaching the end of our contracts with O2. We both currently have the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, with 300 mins, unlimited texts, 500mb of data for £27 a month.

We are both looking to change to the Samsung Galaxy S3. We have done a comparison and it comes up with sites such as affordablemobiles.co.uk, for example on the Panther 20 with Orange for £20.50 a month and the phone is free, but when you go direct to the network's site on the same tariff, you have to pay something like £200 for the phone. Is this right?

Can anyone direct me. We don't want to pay more than our current monthly tariff, we don't need a huge amount of mins or data and we don't want to spend a huge amount on the actual phone (preferably free).

Can anyone help?

Yes, it is. Third parties sell their own phones with networks' contracts. They are getting huge commission from networks for selling the contracts and 'share' this commission with you.

Don't forget to check TCB/quidco as well.
