Just used TR for a hotel in Ibiza for four nights in February. Very pleased with the trouble-free booking and price. We saved loads compared with another popular accomodation provider.0

A couple of weeks ago I booked a holiday to Malta in June via TR - everything went through fine, great price and no problems (so far at least!)."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

If you have a problem contacting TR after booking, Steve from the company posts on https://www.holidaytruths.co.uk to help out any members with problems and there hasn't been one he hasn't been able to help with.
I would book with TR before Low Cost Holidays and I wouldn't even consider On The Beach having read too many posts of how they say the flight price has gone up after the booking is made and asking for more money.
Be aware that booking with any of these companies, you are booking each element separately. If there is a problem with one element, such as a flight being cancelled, then you are still liable for the other elements.
Also your relationship is with the bed bank and not TR.0 -
When you get to pay you pay extra for debit card £1.55 or credit card £3.10 which you're not forewarned about so it's a bit of a con0

I've booked hotel rooms in France through travelrepublic over the last few years, don't remember being charged a booking fee for using a debit card?0 -
I've used them many times with no problems. One year we had to contact them to change rooms as one person booked had to pull out. They were very good at changing our booking.
No complaints here.0 -
Booked with them or Alpharooms many times over the past 8 years or so
No problems at all
You have to realise they have many booking everyday so there is bound to be the odd negative reportHave a nice day0 -

You might not have even noticed it, I only noticed it when I scrolled down for the final click. It's in small print at the bottom on the final payment page where you enter card details but it doesn't even appear until you've selected a card, how sneaky is that!I tried with a couple of things and the actual card charge figures change so it must be a %age of whatever you're paying for.0 -
AVOID TRAVEL REPUBLIC.
I booked a hotel room via them over 2 months ago and they have just contacted me to say that they will not honour the booking. Prices for alternatives have now gone up considerably. Endless phone calls (on hold for ages etc) and emails etc and ultimately they just refer you to their small print and the inevitable "get out" clauses in thier small print. Save yourself a lot of hassle and AVOID it's just not worth the bother or stress. NEVER AGAIN..............once bitten.
I don’t usually bother with things like this but this has left me with a very bad taste, hence the advice.0 -
Ive used them with no problems at all.
The last few times have booked have used http://www.holidayjackpot.co.uk/ and they have been brilliant answered calls quickly really helpful. Should add reason called them was to extend my stay by a week not for a problem.0
