    Hi Edinburghlass,

I hope you complained and got your money back and a replacement (on the rare times that happens in our store) we always 'exceed the customers expectations'

Ask to speak to the manager or customer sevice supervisor who should deal with it more effectively.

Went into Iceland yesterday and was blocked from the freezer area by the Halal foodstuffs which are half price btw. Found some dried foods very cheap - 500g dried chick peas 25p, 500g dried crab eye/coco beans 25p, 500g dunns river kidney beans dried 50p, 500g medium cornmeal (polenta) 25p, 200g creamed coconut (coconut cream blocks as opposed to the tinned stuff) 25p, 100g rajah garlic powder 25p, 100g rajah chilli powder, 100g rajah whole black pepper 50p, 100g rajah chicken seasoning 25p and various other reduced priced rajah spices. I really wonder what the new owners of Iceland are about. The way they are clearing house, are they going to have anything left that people want to buy and can't find cheaper elsewhere?

I hope ive put this in the right section, if not feel free to move it, thanks.
Been to Iceland today and got 280g pack of 2 frozen Boneless farmed Atlantic Salmon Fillets was priced up at £3.50 Bogof, but had 50p above freezer and still went through till bogof. So working out at 25p per pack. I brought the remainder of what there was as the date on it was September. Also got Slim Fast meals, Thai Chicken variety for 50p each, McCain BBQ chicken wings 50p and 2 pack of Potato, Cheese and Onion Flans 50p. Lean minced beef was down to £1 from £1.50 per bag, although when i got home noticed i got charged £1.50 per bag. Terrys choc orange were £1.

Was in the Darlington branch today and got 4 cod fillets in batter, 6 frozen turkey breasts and a packet of frozen chargrilled chicken breast pieces all for 50p each. Thought it was such a good deal that I got the same again for my Mum!

There was a notice up on the door at work today saying that the sale was now coming to an end! It looks like the company are trying to be a bit more like Farm Foods where most of the stuff is 50p, £1, £1.50 etc. It did say however, that for May only, we could offer Home Delivery for a spend of £20 instead of the ususal £25. Don't know whether this is specific to certain stores but you could always ask if it would help.
