Cons Childcare Voucher Cut To U Turn?

In April 2011, the cons made cuts to the childcare voucher scheme so that some working families benefited less from the scheme. This was done by restricting the amounts that higher and additional rate taxpayers could receive tax and NI exempt. Rumours have been circulating for a while that Osborne will make some changes to childcare in the budget - my neighbour has had to give up her job to look after her little ones herself as the family make more money that way!! Ridiculous! (petrol, expensive quick ready meals,childcare fees, and an after school club 2 days a week when Dad cant collect!)

Not quite sure of the point of your post. These changes happened nearly two years ago, if your neighbour was already in the scheme at that time they would have been able to continue to receive the same amount. It was only new joiners who lost out. So maybe she gave up work for another reason.

Or are you saying you are privy to insider information on what the Chancellor has planned for this April. Why all the secrecy, rumours are just rumours. Spit it out!
