Tesco broadband

Anyone got this? Seems rather cheap @£8 month for 6 months and £16 thereafer, but I assume that one needs a phone line with it? If so, tis not so cheap. Annoyingly their website is down.

Other than that, what would you recommend? I just want a connection with unlimited downloads and a decent speed. Not bothered about 60/100mb speeds etc., don't need a phone line but understand that it's required with all but Virgin media.

All ADSL broadband requires an active line-which means paying line rental. What are your LLU options?

Yeah, anything I buy online I check to see if quidco are involved!

DOn't think I will as it seems expensive given that most phone lines appear to be £15/month. Talk talk or virgin looking likely at the mo, probably the former as min contract is 12 months v VM's 18. Accepted that I'm going to have to pay £20 a month, before cashback, for decent broadband, phone line or no phone line.

Aaah don't sign up to Tesco. I have recently had a complete nightmare with them....I would'nt wish them on my worst enemy.

Terrible BB speed, dismal customer service....Just awful

I went back to BT their new customer deals arn't too bad, and at least you get good service and very good speed.
