I'm surprised you have found a load of shops open at this time on a Sunday morning :cool:Look after your payment key / card and keep it clean. Replacements can take up to 3 days and you may be without a supply0 -
Are any of you neighbours with npower that perhaps you could borrow their card to put some credit on? I know you're not sposed to do this, but needs must and all that0

I don't think you can borrow a card.
When you get a new one you have to put it in your meter for 1 minute and it picks up the registration number from the meter.
This is how they gas company know what account the payment is for.
Then you have to take it back to the shop to top it up!
If the cards are un-associated when given out by the shop and are no-cost, try using a british gas card.
The registration number on your meter will be applied to the card and so the payment should go the correct supplier.
Never tried this but the cards are probably only different in how they are visually branded.0 -
I would also ask them to provide you with an up to date out of hours number for enterprise or whoever the meter asset management company is for this situation - unfortunately this is something many suppliers are somewhat lax in doingI am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0

I was told by a shop that I could use a british gas card but that npower needed to hive me a number to register it against the card!
Ive now spoken to enterprise who are sending someone out to add some credit on until I can speak to npower in the morning
Thanks for all the replies0 -
Have you telephoned NPower yet? Your card must be somewhere in your home if you last used it to top up.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

This isnt a National Grid issue.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
