Tethering on Talkmobile

Just got a Sony Experia on Talkmobile pay monthly. It has a setting called "Tethering and Portable hotspot", and it looks like the ability to "Configure wifi hotspot", with WPA2.

Can I tether my iPad to it, or if I do, will they charge me for all tethered data usage?

The Talkmobile T&C's state that you are not allowed to tether to other devices but their actions should you choose to do so would depend upon the nature and volume of data transfer. Occasional use would normally not be noticed but blatant use would.

You would normally get a warning to cease first time around then possible disconnection from data services if you continued.

The fact that your phone allows you to do this is irrelevent.
