Hi Can anyone please give me the latest on compensation claims on this delayed flight?
I was on this flight last year, and have submitted the claim form to eu claims. Alas i have had an e.mail back from them stating that they are not going to pay out any compensation as they feel they dealt with the delay as best they could and that there is no claim to be made.
The flight was from Dalaman, Turkey to London Gatwick and was delayed for 8hours!! Due to crew sickness. They say they did everything to get a replacement crew in but they had unfortunately done their flying hours for that day, so we had to wait for another crew to come in and fly us home.
I don't really understand all the jargon that is on this site, so could someone please put it in plain english what if anything i can do to pursue this claim? Thank you.
