Well, having taken the advice on this site and got myself two credit rating reports and one score (Experian) which gave an excellent rating. Howgob-smacked was I when I applied for a Balance Transfer card so I could move some debt across to pay any interest towards clearing the debt (instead of lining the pockets of the bankers), from a card provider that uses Experian as their reference medium, only to find that they refused to offer me a card??
I subsequently phoned and spoke to Experian and asked why there was no parity between theie score/ratingand the card lender? ..and I left none the wiser, just dumb-founded..., so suggested to Experian there was not much point to subscribingto their site and it did not reflect realism. :wall:

It's the raw data on the report that's important. What does your raw data say about you? ie...
On electoral roll?
Number of addresses in last 3/6 years?
On electoral roll at all of them?
Total available credit?
Total Debt?
Credit utlisation (how much of the available credit are you using)?
Number of recent searches?
Number of credit accounts (both open and settled)?
Financial Associates?
Payment History?
CCJs, defaults, CIFAS markers?
And what about the things Experian don't know about you? ie...
Time with bank?
Time with employer?
Employment type (full, part time, self-employed)?
Income?0 -
As above, can guarantee that no knowledgeable or credible users would recommend paying for the useless credit 'score' from a CRA.0

i would ask for a refund for missellingDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
