Happy Birthday for yesterday Goldie, hope you're feeling better today.
LW - I'm sure the new franchise owners will still need your expert services.
Headlight - Hope the girls enjoyed their exam.
Congrats to the DD who has a new full time job (was it BB?), sorry my brain has given up!
Busy morning finishing tidying up for the viewing, they were here about half an hour and said they were just thinking about moving so probably wont hear from them again, just fancied a nosey I think!
Nipped down to support friends Guide afternoon tea, it was very busy and they have raised over £300 for a cancer charity so well done them.
Great day for rugby but going to friends for dinner tonight so may have to ask very nicely if they can put the Scotland game on later!
Take care. XX0 -
Afternoon
Rained for most of the day here, I have put few seedlings out to get wet, much better than tap water, will have to keep an eye on temp though.
Busy day for me, did loads of jobs I had been meaning to catch up on, including fixing a chest of drawers and bath plug. Kitchen has had a good once over and DW has few extra bits in that could do with a deep clean.
BM has been on and we now have nice crusty loaf to soak up pasta sauce we will have for dinner. Put away washing off airer.
Now going to put feet up and watch the rugby.

Evening all,
I love Dale's tie on the lottery show:D
Well done Wales, played great and deserved the win,:T even though I am very much a proud English woman.
So I'm planning on taking some anti biotics for my sinuses. They just don't seem to be any better, it's either that or bang my head in the wall. 😱Has anybody had antibiotics work well for sinuses.
I've found some new emotions to use on my iPad, can you tell
Hubby and I are going to watch Robin Hood with Russell Crowe tonight as we haven't seen it yet. People often say my fella looks like him, he does a bit😍
I tried pegging my washing out today it just hung there wet and limp, my mother who lives in Yorkshire must be the only woman in the world who dries her washing outside all year round🌾
Alright enough waffle maybe pain killers, antibiotics and this don't mix🍷Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

I had an interesting message conversation this evening with my daughters partner who is South African.
17:14, 16 Mar - Kim: Hi Judi, how u doing? Quick question, why do most homes in uk have a bucket/dish thingy in the kitchen sink?
17:21, 16 Mar - Judi: Do you mean a bowl within the sink to wash up in? I am fine thanks babe xxx
17:22, 16 Mar - Kim: Yes that's it! Why?
17:23, 16 Mar - Judi: A bowl is used to economise on water. I don't use a bowl as I dont like them.
17:24, 16 Mar - Kim: But why don't they just put the plug in the sink, that's the point of a sink with a plug!!?
17:26, 16 Mar - Judi: Well you sometimes need more space. It's no good trying to put the cooker grids in a bowl as they would be too big. Then you put the plug in the sink and use the whole of the sink if that makes sense
17:28, 16 Mar - Judi: Sometimes you need a bowl to take the water to a patch of dirt. Such as on a carpet.
17:40, 16 Mar - Kim: Oh how odd!!!
17:41, 16 Mar - Kim: I still don't really get it but thanks for clearing it up.
17:41, 16 Mar - Kim: Much better with no bowl
17:41, 16 Mar - Judi: It's only to save water really babe. I don't like them though
19:05, 16 Mar - Kim: Thanks for the input. Ill stick with fresh water in the sink!!
Ive been smiling all evening. How something as simple as a bowl in a kitchen sink can throw someone who isnt used to them. I guess she was having this conversation with my daughter and my daughter said 'Ask my Mum'.:D
I sent her a picture of my kitchen sink (complete with washing up and no bowl). This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
