In short you can ignore them. But please don't hijack others threads, can you post your situation below in a new thread - many thanks.

When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

  • I received a £90 civil parking enforcement notice last September and further letter in October which I've ignored and today received letter from Debt Recovery Plus stating if I don't pay £140 by 22nd March it will be passed to solicitor to commence Court proceedings. What should I do?

Could you please start your own thread and not hijack an existing one.

If not sure how to start a new thread it's probably because you didn't realise perhaps that you aren't even on the forum but are on someone else's random thread. Often happens when people Google a company name and then don't realise that any forum thread found is always just 'one page in a book' and really you need to start with the contents page to navigate the forum usefully for yourself.

See my signature, the forum index of threads is always one click away. There you will see a thread near the top called 'PPC letter chains', click on that and then on the OLD PRE-OCTOBER letter chain link (not the new one as it's too new to have much yet). You will then see the Debt Recovery Plus letter chain in all it's glory, Zenith letter-headings, same signatures for different fake staff members and all. Junk mail, all of it.

If you then still need to start your own thread after reading that sticky thread and other threads you see about any PPC, then you will also notice a blue 'new thread' button at the top of the forum view.

  • Just to keep everyone up to date, i have now received a 'FORMAL DEMAND' from Premier Park. Now being told to pay £100 within 28 days or will increase to £150 plus further administrative costs!
  • Two more things...

    1) I notice from the POPLA decisions sticky thread that cases similar to mine (no permit on display - mine had fallen from dashboard onto floor) often have their appeals refused.

Although having requested a POPLA code and not being sent one will be in my favour I assume?

    2) When visiting the pcnpayments website - if i now enter my vehicle registration and the pcn reference i get the following notice: PCN and Registration are not a valid combination (and this has always been the case!)

The only POPLA cases I know if that have been lost were the early ones (before January/February) apart from 'soft' appeals where the OP has missed most of what we would now advise to be included.

Almost every POPLA appeal we see here is won now, when the OP follows all the advice and does their homework...e.g. checking the BPA Code of Practice for breaches, looking at the Protection of Freedoms Act links, looking at the points in the Parking Cowboys website (legal challenge template on that site) and reading the successful POPLA appeals not the rejected ones, learning from the successful ones! Also then showing the draft POPLA appeal here first, for comments & help.

Have you got a POPLA code now or did they never bother? Complain to the BPA (see their website on how to complain about an AOS member) if you appealed and they rejected but never sent a POPLA code.
