like the bridge idea tho......oh built the trellis in the pic, so Im sure he'd be thrilled at being asked for a bridge
:rotfl:
what about chooks and geese.....? A bridge and floating egg island?0 -
Friends of mine have a bridge over flowers. It is where the kids go through back gate to park andnthey were fed up of grass wearing but didn't want slabs. Bridge was perfect solution as they could still have the flowers they wanted and no fear of kids treading on them by mistake.

we have a fire pit. Dont laugh but it came about quite by accident. Someone deposited a boots shopping basket in our garden one night???? one of the metal ones. It found its way into a hole dug in the garden surrounded by rocks from the beach and it makes for the perfect fire
we have a chiminea for when we feel more posh :rotfl::rotfl: but our firepit is the best! have had many a good night sat out putting the world to rights with a fire and a couple bottles of wine0 -

The front is quite small compared to the back and both have changed many times over the years so has kept me busy as they require constant maintenance to keep it looking presentable. Trouble is that once you let it slip it's many times as hard to bring it back. I need to go lower maintenance but don't want to be part of the concrete jungle that the area (like many) is becoming:(Awaiting a new sig0 -

I also had a large Malibu and coke!
Thanks everyone for all your best wishes

I have a cast iron chiminea thing, which is great fun, men love a good burning. I need to find a nice log stove for the man-shed now. My logs are going to get used up far too quickly if I am using them in the summer as well as winter!!“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
