You need a big sense of humour at times. Being woken up in the middle of the night to a rendition (is that the right word) of 3 blind mice sung very badly is certainly going through it.

Hope my honesty is not offending anyone.

you're not offending anyone at all TS. It's good to share, especially with folks that have been there and know exactly where you're coming from :)

Was very upset actually that a's had run out of eggs as was hoping for mega wombles. Did get far more than usual though and a whopping £7.14 for my trouble.
Not put through tcb or q yet but many hot cross buns on them.
Good job I talked stepfather into signing up to tcb today as he wanted to buy a mac from pc world. One purchase and I should have my referral fee already.
Think he did it to humour me:rotfl:

Tinyshoes enjoy your evening off, hope you don't have to get back too early in the morning as sound like you could do with a nice:coffee in bed tomorrow.

Know that not a day goes past that you are not mentioned by the nightshift.
Hope the compassion on here gives you strength.

Hope it's all good stuff being mentioned.

I do enjoy my time off with you all, it cheers me up no end. :TUnfortunately no tea (don't drink coffee) in bed as have to be back for 7am. A night sit is only from 10pm to 7am. :(

Not really TM. The birds will eat it and what's left will soon rot away of it's own accord quickly:) I never put apple/pear/etc cores in the bin...just open the front/back door and throw them out:rotfl:

    So theoretically,

Would you or would you not be fined for dropping litter if you threw an apple core into some bushes

Thank good ness I read that sentence back before posting. You lot would have had a field day:eek:

I know exactly what you mean, not callous at all it is how I feel about it. It is the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life, and I will be so relieved when it is over, I want to be able to live my life again. You know the exciting moments like hitting whoopsies at the right time, finding mega cheap wine at 3am in the morning etc etc. ;)

Hope no one else finds how I say things to be cold or hard either, it is just a reality for me.

Tinyshoes. That is not cold or hard. That is exactly how I felt with both my parents at the time. You are surviving on little sleep and out of your routine and you want them to be at peace. Snatch any little time you can get to yourself to get through. :A
Smile :) and hopefully the world will smile back

Such a shame. We have a great recycling centre/ tip here. I always come home with as much stuff as Ive taken :o the staff are fab as well.

Can't believe so many are getting rid of soil :( I have a really bad part in my garden that keeps flooding. It was so bad last year we installed a pump......Im going to have to pay a fortune for topsoil to try and sort it out :(

I had to do the same in mine when we first moved in and I started landscaping the garden. 25 tonnes of topsoil, 20 tonnes of manure, 5 tonnes of sharp sand and mine is still soggy clay in places. Doesn't help that the house is built on an old stream bed:( (stream is in a culvert under the front gardens)
    Awaiting a new sig
