I found this video quite useful:
    http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/cracking-open/how-to-replace-a-broken-laptop-screen/816.
As far, as I know a person, who would fix it for you can charge quite high. A friend of mine changed hers recently and I can ask her from where did she get the replacement, if this will be of any help. :)

That would be great, thank you

Hi and welcome Jason, I found this thread around this January, and it took a while for the hints and tips to sink in

thank u petulia...i do stack vouchers...ooeerr look at me stackin:j...but for the life of me i cant get my head around the comparisons between tesco and other supermarkets..i do spend a lot of time trying to get the cheapest however i only use tesco ...i know on here thats sinful but thats all i can use x

thank u for ur welcome x:T

there's alot of people here that only have access to one supermarket. You can still find plenty of ways to make it work in your favour. Stick with it/ us and you'll pick it up in no time. I find with tesco it's always better to do 2 shops. One to get a PP ( cheaper elsewhere, usually As) and a shop with whatever Ts have on offer. You'll soon learn how to maximise the offers :)

Oh Artha, it's always worth re-stocking a few elsewhere ... like behind the overpriced manuka honey which hardly seems to sell or some expensive coffee, just above eye level :)

Now that's a good idea. I did have a look around to see if someone else had stashed any but couldn't find any. I think they must have done as when I went tonight there was another empty tray that had appeared two shelves below.

    :wave:Hi artha
Made a flying visit to your local T tonight to pick up the magazines and bought some of the parioli tomatoes. Can't believe that there were so many available! Too early for the evening rugby scrum so thought that I'd leave it to the professionals :)

Only a couple of us friendly ones there tonight so it was a leisurely share out. Trouble was there wasn't that much to share out that I was interested in. I could have had a very, very large joint of beef for one of our visitors but let it go to a needier cause;)

Hi lasloslye Savvy's your man for comparison lists, have a gander at his T's lists, linky in post below. Savvy updates these regularly. Get me quoting LaaCaz and Savvy in one evening, lol :D.

A general shop?! You want my entire lists Tvs A, S and M?

[Edit: T vs M on here for those outside Northern Ireland - scroll down to nearer the end - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=60168427&postcount=5035 - and I'll now start adding the items that are same price at T and M after all!! But will be done over time, as I'm off to see what's in the Tvs A and S lists I've got on MSM - due to my two-week period offline, they both need quite some sorting!] [If anyone else has any results today from T PP you can post them I think.]
