Just done an A v S shop, I had a look for Fanta exotic but there was none so I tried Irn Bru as a trigger as its not showing as part of the multibuy. Stupid me forgot to check my receipt and the multibuy didn't come off  I checked msm and Irn Bru is 3 for £3 so I should have gone to CS about this, it will have to wait until morning now though.0

That reminds me. Don't know whether its just a local store thing but my T has had a big impromptu display of reduced items from the upper floor near the entrance downstairs. Cameras, sat navs , headphones, radios, ipod docks, bluetooth speakers, TVs etc. Reductions vary between 25%-75% with the odd 90%. Nothing I needed so didn't bother but was tempted by some JVC headphones at £5 down from £30 ish.
Got talking to someone upstairs and it's a clear out of older stock to make way for new stock. Laptops were mentioned as being next on the list but tended to be Windows 7 running the slower processors. Might be worth watching out for in other stores or asking any friendly SAs for a heads up.:)Awaiting a new sig0 -
The Parolli and the £2 Finest coupons don't seem to scan - somebody yesterday suggested it might be because T's have fixed the tills so that coupons don't scan on items already on offer. I don't think this is right though because the Del Monte 40p coupons do scan even though the juices are on offer at £1. (and its very nice juice especially for 60p).
Some time ago one of T's Managers told me that if Tesco coupons don't scan and you have got the right item, I should tell the SA that they have to input them manually. He said lots of the Tesco coupons don't scan and to mention his name if necessary. This ploy has worked well over the past few days.
On another tack, having been unable to find any of the leaflets or books for days, I now have a bigger pile of Finest leaflets than I can use (seeing as my freezers are now full and I'm off on holiday next Thursday). I guess I'll have to take them up to the recycling centre before I go away.ELITE 5:2
