Phew all sorted..... They tried to tell me I had broken t&cs as I had two names registered ... I told them I didn't know what they were talking about and they just kept saying I had broken the rules ,anyway got there in the end. Turns out I had registered in my married name and pay palwas in maiden name so had to email documents to say I was who I said I am. All is reinstated now :) :T

Anchovies on offer @ Lidl at the mo, great big jar of them for £2.99 ISTR plus it's a Kilner jar you can keep.

OK I found it - 230g for £2.99 but the Kilner jar might swing it?

Thanks squilliondollarbaby I'll look out for those next time I'm in Lidl's, the stew didn't taste of anchovies at all, meat melted in the mouth and as per Nigella's description the anchovies provide flavour not fishiness. Definitely one to do again, maybe with leftover beef in the slow cooker.

We get through 150K Avios a year (2 return European flights for 5 of us) so I have to be resourceful :D

I would dearly like to get it to 225K ie use Avios instead of paying on another set of flights as we go back & forth 4 times, but so far have struggled to get beyond 150K accumulated every year.

Mr T might come in very handy if, as I half suspect, the TCB annual T limit goes up from £50 to £250.

That'd be 90-100K Avios on bonus exchange. Here's hoping. ;)

Lucky you, when they revamped the bands our favoured destination became band 4, just outside the reward flights offered for bands 1-3. A return is now £25,000 miles plus about £150 in taxes.
