  • I must say , quidco seem to have inproved over the last few days.
I put a receipt in a few minutes ago and it is confirmed already.
They were taking a week at the start. On the other hand tcb seem to have slowed down.
  • Morning all,

It's cold, wet and windy here :-(

Anyone played Bingo via Quidco yet? Butlers has a £20.00 cb for £10.oo deposit. I just don't know if I trust Quidco enough to spend my money/time doing it. Thoughts?

Edit: Don't worry, I've just read the reviews.

    Morning all

Currently playing catch up from page 145 as yesterday was the ideal home show.

    See you later x
:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79
  • Switch your fuel? TCB are running a good deal with npower this week - £101 for dual fuel switches.

Just did a Uswitch comparison and whilst npower are not the cheapest, you'd still make £60 (Energy Online August 2014) vs switching to the next best alternative for my postcode Southern Electric Discount Energy Bonus May 2014.

No good for me as I'm on EDF fixed until April 2014 which is loads cheaper. :D

If you want fixed, you might consider npower as dual only about £45 more expensive than EDF Blue + Price Promise June 2014 (but 1. EDF is more flexible with no cancellation fees whereas npower would charge £60 for cancelling early & 2. got a hunch energy prices will dip a bit as US shale oil ramps up).

    Anyway, run an online check?

Think we had to accept bonus on the bgo one.
So basically I just have to keep going till Ive bought £120 worth of tickets (that was mentioned somewhere on the site) and then it will start using my bonus?

Edit. Its ok logie already answered when I was writing this post :)

They are pretty hot about only 1 account per user (and sometimes per household).

If you have enough credit cards, addresses and people you can get round it but if you slip up they won't give you your cashback.
  • Thankyou all for your kind wishes, cracking the whip at home for a little help as it is my right hand. Happy to say DD2 &DS1 are helping.

Just been to watch DGD1 in a school production of Cinderalla, great little show, singing their little socks off, well done tutors of year 1 and of course all the children.

Shopping on back burner as can't drive and also cant carry a heavy load but open to browsing. My Tasco are in my opinion very efficient,
Serpantyne Grxxn. Peterbh so dont find alot.

Would like to thank everyone for their helpful posts and sharing. Have a good day everyone and thinking of you all that have toubles and share I know the support here is great :):):)

Have you tried ringing cc and explaining. I once converted my points to hotel stay but there was lots of conditions like minimum stay 2 nights etc and I realised I'd made a mistake as really couldn't use them. Contacted cc and they converted back to points. Have a good reason ready, it's worth a try. Hth x

Going to try this myself today, seeing as they've not replied to my e-mail...again! Is that the number for them in the first post, or is there a different one?

Re the skip thing...i love 'em! And i think it's ridiculous that it's illegal to take things out. Only been caught once tho, it was a charity shop skip...but we had permission from the shop owners anyway :D

In certain skips you can get an amazing amount of wombles. Used to be great until they started giving vouchers out at the till ;)
