Better that you make good use of it than it end up in some landfill. I hate waste.

2nd that and fully agree - if you can make any use of it, why not? We've got so much stuff over the years and saved some money:)

    Snap-ant,

so a debate for the morning.....is it ok to help yourself to stuff from a skip or two? I will put it to good use, so I think so...........and the naughtiness has made me :)

    Definitely help ourselves here :D

I've put numerous items on Freegle that have been put out for the bin men, washing machines, wooden beds, shelving, computer chairs, books, toys & games.
Whilst walking to work the other day there was a lovely wooden chair from the 60s, beautifully made left out for bin men so I carried it to work & then home. At the moment it's piled high with my ironing :rotfl:
    I loathe unnecessary waste
Luckily our local waste yard has a 'rescued items' shop & all the money goes to schools :)
