Found some of the beef yesterday with £10kg marked instead of £5 thought happy days, free beef and bought 2.

Got the trouting of my life lol at cs and dtd was never even mentioned.

Was told it was only silverside, though my beef was clearly marked as such.
Was told I must have taken it from a different section and was called a liar from the cs woman when I said no I took it from the same display as those marked half price.
She then went to have another look and magically appears with an sel saying £10kg and told me she removed it from the same display (lies)
Said the meat was from another supplier despite the identical packaging.

All this and dtd was never mentioned.

I phoned HO to complain about the attitude and they sided with the store.

I really cannot understand what gets into cs staff, between the lies, arguing and downright cheek, I left in shock.

And throughout it all, she thought all I wanted was to pay half price for the joints I had selected. She tried to get me to do a direct swop for topside, when I pointed out, I had bought silverside, she said they were the same thing.

For the NI team this was B/gomartin.

I had the trouting of my life on Monday over a Leg of a Horse..
Just complain on their fb page... I think u get a quicker and better results because they do not want pple to see negative complaints about them.

Why I said a Leg of a Horse...sarcy... but the leg of lamb I got was supposed to be £4 per kg, but the one I got was priced at £10.99 kg and weighed 2.276kg... When I went to CS , both of us went to check...then she tells me to go and wait at CS desk..

CS comes back like 10 mins later and fobs me off with all the excuses she could think of... so I got a refund on my leg of lamb.

I then checked the PRICE PROMISE that they are actively promting and on it it showed my leg of lamb weighing 6.25kg.... that means even the PP saw my lamg at £4 per kg..IYSWIM...

Now I need to sort out an error with the Fresh cream cake they are selling, says any 2 for £3, but at another tescos I was fobbed off again that I should have got 2 the same...didnt have time to argue so I got a refund and left...gonna go tomorrow and do 2 transactions..1 for same cakes and another for 2 different ones and see how out works out..

    HTH
    :)

Cheese has right multi save on it. It's given you the £3.48 and the £3.69 ones free (well it would have had you accepted them :D ) which is the £7.17 discount.
That's the 6th cheapest of the 6 and the 3rd cheapest of the 6.

Don't miss the budget guys, unless you hate that kind of thing of course!

Strong rumour that personal tax free threshold will go up to £10,000.

Plus it has ben trailed that the big pension changes already announced for 2017 will be brought forward to 2016. If that is true there may well be a way announced to top up any missing years pension contributions, as the number of years required for a full UK state pension is going up from 30 to 35.

I'll post up a summary later but would enjoy the banter if other posters don't mind a few budget posts while it happens live.

Coming up in 1 minute, no doubt on several channels (Sky News for me lol)

I was going to watch it but can't stand the heckling and them not letting him speak so have switched it off
  • are there any Tecchies in the house?

Does anyone know why on my computer mysupermarket keeps freezing?

It only happens to msm and no other site.
I have no problems loading the page up, but once up and running it will let me search or scroll for about 3-4 pages then stops working and i have to shut it down and reload it again.
Beginning to be a bit of a chore now and wondered if any of you clever peeps had a simple solution??

It does that to me on my Mac with Safari so I use Firefox instead. With mine, it's to do with Flash compatibility and generally crashes.

  • Those LED torches - I think I found them in my store today. However in trying to turn one on to see how it worked I managed to pull the whole lamp housing off and it all fell on the floor :o Whoops.

They're not built very sturdy.
